Timeline of a Fallen Hunter is the result of my innate interest in points where different (sub)genres meet. In this case, transplanting a fantasy element (mythical creatures such as trolls, mermaids, and djinn, oh my…) into a secondary, near-future world. Such genre blends – let’s use the broad term science fantasy – are, by definition, difficult to fit into a box. Perhaps that is why ‘blended’ stories intrigue me.
